Breirol en mandjes allebei klaar! 2 Finishes!

Last year I found this pattern on  Annelein 's weblog. Up here is part 1

 Het tweede stukje...

The second part....

 Het derde stukje...

The third part....

 En het laatste eindje...

The last bit....

 Helemaal languit...

Stretched out on the bed.....

The initials made from cross stitches. This was my first time I did this on knitted 'fabric'. Nice to try out.

My basketquilt finished and blowing in the wind on the balcony, after being washed.

while I was eating home made apple-crumble with custard, yummy.

Maybe I will hang the quilt in the hallway for a while. It is light and cheerfull. So now I will change the name in shoppingbaskets, I know... that is why there are no flowers in the baskets ;) Normally I prefer not to hang a quilt but to use it. It would be nice on the couch while making hexagons.I will show you my new project soon. The quilt is not so big: 1.47m long by 1.16m width. It has a woolen batting, because I already had a piece of it in my closet .

The back  made out of scraps ( and big scraps I wanted to use now) and another basket (or as  my husband said: a big bucket)

Something strange....can you see what this is?

Last week , in France, I saw this fire hydrant ( hope the translation is right). Nice colours don't you think? I could have kept going on making pictures. The colour fits the baskets;)
