This is the result of a lot of paperpiecing and 96 pieces of fabric....my new compass! ( the first one was here )It was a bit tight in the middle and the 16 points of paper were too thick. So that will be a lesson for the next one. I'm happy it is done, the compass feels heavy because of all the fabric.

On the pictures above you see the work in progress...

My new dollquilttop has 18 stars. One of them is on purpose, much lighter than the others. The pattern and fabrics come from Quilt it & Dotty , Tilburg. I can't show you the making off the top, because I just started it yesterday evening and liked it so much that I forgot to make pictures.
I was very lucky today that I could work on this without being disturbed.

Above all the 'stars'together. The top meassures 58 x 44cm. There will be no extra border.
On the right corner, below, you can see the first paperpieced compassblock again.

My first peony from my allotment, very big and it smells wonderful! I could't resist to take it with me.

Your peonie is absolutely beautiful. I tried to grow one, it cost me a fortune from the nursery. I got one flower one year from it and then a couple of years later, it died.

Yours compass blocks are AMAZING and I love your new little doll quilt.

Peonies are my very favorite flower, but they just don't last long enough!

I just LOVE your compass blocks....you are so skilled. Those blocks are not easy to do. Your color choices are so pretty.

I adore the doll quilt too!

Your compass is looking lovely and amazing! Where did you get the pattern? Is that from a book? I'd love to try making one on my own :) And your star quilt top looks very pretty, too! I love the color combination a lot!!

groetjes, Jeannet
