Deze stoffen bestelde ik bij het Victoria & ALbert museum in Londen. Het zijn stoffen die gemaakt zijn naar voorbeelden in oude quilts. Ik vind ze supergaaf.
I ordered these fabrics in the shop of the Victoria& Albert museum in London. They used the old quilts at the exhibition as examples to make these fabrics. I think they are gorgeous.
Zover ben ik met het borduren. Dat gaat wel met een slakkengangetje, vooral als je af en toe wat uit moet halen...De rode theepot vond ik in Haarlem bij het 'Filiaal'. Een winkel met heel veel leuke en gekke spullen, zoals veel van Kitsch Kitchen. Ik ben daar heel lang binnen geweest samen met mijn dochter, het regende buiten dus wat moet je dan anders...
This is my embroidery at the moment. It is going very slow, especially if I have to pull out little pieces and start again once in a while. . I bought the red teapot at 'Het Filiaal' in Haarlem (a beautiful historic place near my town). They sell a lot of funny and grazy things like a lot of Kitsch Kitchen. We, my daughter and me, stayed there for quite some time, it was raining outside so what else can you do ...
